I just love the internet because you never know what kind wild and crazy tales you're going to hear from one day to the next. Last night I started what I thought was a random conversation about nothing with one of my female chat buddies. Next thing I know...
ms(10:13:23 PM): you want to know some funny mess... will take your mind off the drama for a sec
me (10:14:17 PM): sure go 'head
ms (10:14:37 PM): so a few months ago I had phone sex with this married guy
ms (10:15:03 PM): we never did it again.. but Sunday he calls me out of the blue and wants to chit chat
ms (10:15:12 PM): no ... saturday
ms (10:15:58 PM): so we chat on and off all day saturday... he stroked his dick on the phone.. I just listened
ms (10:16:07 PM): sunday we chatted all day
me (10:16:15 PM): mmm hmmm
ms (10:16:26 PM): yesteday morning he calls me on the way to work... we chat for a minute
ms (10:16:45 PM): last night I was with my friends.. he sends me a text message saying call him... I forget
me (10:17:10 PM): ok
ms (10:17:40 PM): hours later... he sends another message saying I am waiting on your call
ms (10:18:06 PM): when i get home.. i don' call.. i just jump on the net and chat it up with him
ms (10:18:42 PM): anyway.. he decides to start strokin... he asks me to get on cam... but I say I'm not showin... cause it's that time of the month
ms (10:18:55 PM): he's like cool... just let me see ya titties
ms (10:18:59 PM): so.. i'm like cool
ms (10:19:20 PM): so he's on cam doin his thing... i'm playing with my nipples
ms (10:19:31 PM): he calls me.. letting me listen while he strokes
me (10:19:36 PM): ok
ms (10:19:52 PM): 10 minutes into it... his wife walks in the room and goes crazy
ms (10:20:04 PM): screamin what the fuck are you doing
me (10:20:12 PM): lol
ms (10:20:19 PM): he was real calm about it
me (10:20:30 PM): and then
ms (10:21:06 PM): she's trippin out like.. you showin ya dick on cam and talking to some other woman on the phone
ms (10:21:15 PM): he's cool like yeah
me (10:21:19 PM): lol
ms (10:21:22 PM): like he hasn't done shit wrong
me (10:21:40 PM): why were you still on the phone?
ms (10:21:45 PM): she says... tell her goodnight
ms (10:21:54 PM): this is all like 10 seconds
me (10:21:58 PM): ok
ms (10:22:13 PM): he says goodnight and I hang up
ms (10:22:32 PM): he calls me this morning... I am like this dude is a glutton for punishment
me (10:23:07 PM): well it's obvious he's not happy at home and finds the thrill of being caught exciting
ms (10:23:12 PM): he tells me she went coo coo after that... threw his cam away... they had a fight and all kinda stuff
me (10:23:25 PM): I can imagine
ms (10:23:30 PM): yeah.. he says he's an exhibitionist
ms (10:24:06 PM): ok... but the trip is... she trippin off me.. but good thing she didn't hear what he was strokin and telling me about
me (10:24:44 PM): what was this fool saying?
ms (10:25:17 PM): telling me about how he just got fucked by this dude...2 hours before

ms (10:28:44 PM): his wife is none the wiser.. but he says that she knows that he has been with a man before
me (10:28:48 PM): is he an ex-jailbird or something
ms (10:29:10 PM): no jail
ms (10:29:28 PM): his co worker just turned his ass out one night
me (10:30:15 PM): how the crap did that happen
ms (10:31:50 PM): he says they went out and got drunk.. he started asking his co worker about how gay men fucked.. told him he was curious
ms (10:32:13 PM): co worker asked if he wanted to experience it... he said yes
ms (10:32:39 PM): co worker had his partner fuck him... he liked it
me (10:32:57 PM): oh the co-worker was gay...I see i see
me (10:33:08 PM): damn this gets wilder with each statement you make
ms (10:33:13 PM): lol
me (10:33:22 PM): the co-worker had his lover fuck the married guy...this is a mess
ms (10:33:35 PM): yes... he wasn't married back then though
ms (10:34:02 PM): but he said that he told his wife about this experience with a man and another 1 too before they got married
me (10:34:39 PM): so...are you saying that he and the coworker and the coworker's lover are still sexing
ms (10:34:47 PM): even let his wife strap on and fuck him... so I would think she should have a clue about him
ms (10:35:28 PM): nope... he has some new dudes he fools with now... a man and a shemale (not sure if that is the proper terminology)
me (10:35:46 PM): oh my god

Can't Wait
Seems rare that I get an opportunity to audition for any tv show that I'm a fan of. Last week I had an audition for Lifetime's Strong Medicine; though I was happy to finally be auditioning for something that wasn't comedy the entire time I kept thinking I hate this show. Why can't I get an audition for a show I actually watch? Well lucky, lucky, lucky me. Wednesday I get to audition for my favorite one hour drama - Showtime's Huff. I'm excited. I can't wait.

Don't Ask Me For Jack
I have been quietly stewing for over a week now waiting for a certain friend to return my phone calls about the money she owes me. In March 2005 I told her we needed to settle our debt. It had been more than a year since I had loaned her money. Knowing the purpose of the money's usage was business related I chose not to sweat her about her overdue repayment. But recently I felt like I had given her more than enough time to do whatever needed to be done. Thus, a timetable for payment needed to be addressed. In March she told me she'd have the money at the end of May. May passed by and no money. Early June I gave her a friendly reminder phone call and was told that I would have the money 4 days later. Four days has ballooned to 2 weeks and I have yet to hear from her or receive the money. Talk about pissed! How hard is it to call and tell me you don't have it instead of dodging my calls?
In the past three years I have been screwed over by a couple of friends that have renigged on promises made. I've given what they've asked of me but haven't recieve what I have asked of them or what was agreed upon to be given to me. This latest fiasco has me so infuriated that my frustration has boiled over to the point where I now resolve not to do anything else for anybody. I am sick of getting the short end of the stick so often.
DON'T ASK ME FOR JACK...the well is dry...I don't have any more emotional support, encouragement, creativity, time, (the list goes on) to offer.
Lesson of the week: It's NOT better to give than receive.
Word to the wise: Take all that you can...and then some.

Popup Ads
Don't you just hate popups? I know I sure do. While surfing the 'net today, Mozilla didn't prevent a popup for this site: http://www.tizzletalk.com/ Before I closed the popup ad few key words caught my attention and I decided to take a trip to their homepage. I'm curious to see it in action.

Love-Hate
Finally it's over. I'm not completely satisfied with the end result but I've done all that I know how to do to load this new template properly. Whew!
I don't know who told me I could (note to Mark & Tasha:I hate both y'all right now) and/or should (note to self: find another new hobby) load a foreign template into blogger but they need to be flogged for encouraging such foolishness. I must've sat at this darn computer for 14 hours configuring and reconfiguring this page. I don't know a damn thing about HTML coding....What I look like sitting at my computer comparing and contrasting lines of code in the new template with code from the old template praying that God (Mark's suggestion) would miraculously show me a quick and easy answer to all my code problems or suddenly give me the ability to interpret HTML (my actual prayer request)? Well, no such luck! After hours of cutting and pasting and previewing I decided this was as good as it was gon' git. I pray it was worth my effort...
If I could just stop finding little things to alter every 5 minutes I might actually be satisfied with the new look...yeah right! I'm already roaming about in search of another template that will do as I tell it to do instead of giving me all the fits this darn template gave me.
* smh* Load another template and read more code? What am I thinking?
Truth be told, i'm obsessed with coding now...I can't stop thinking about it, dreaming about it or playing with it.

Shut Up Already
When I am running errands the last thing I want to do is hold much, if any, conversation with strangers. I'm just not the friendly type; not to mention, I'm usually in my own little world, deep in thought and inconsequential chatter about random nothing really infringes upon my brooding mood. When I'm in a mood, I hate to be infringed upon. I work hard at being bitter and angry. When I am accosted by some Overzealous "I can't be out in public without making new friends 'cause I just love people and people love me and YOU seem like you WANT to talk to me about nothing because I really have nothing to say but my family or friend(s) aren't here to listen to my exciting observations on religion-life-food-or what not" Nuts I try to pacify their need for small talk with a halfhearted chuckle, fake grin and/or one word repliess like "Really? Great! Ahhh! Yeah!" without pausing from whatever is I'm doing. As many of you know, sometimes, polite acknowledgement of the ON existence isn't enough to appease them; instead, they view your begrudging faux-courteous acknowlegdement as encouragement to continue talking.
Yesterday at the grocery store an older white woman (senior citizen) decided that she was going to force me to engage in her verbal lovefest about the pies we were perusing. No matter how many times I replied with one word answers or moved in a direction opposite hers she still kept chatting away about how much she loved peach pie but couldn't find any peach pies on display and how she couldn't leave the store without some kind of pie though she couldn't find her beloved peach pie because maybe peaches were out of season.
I mean come on. Damn! Can't I have a moment? Must you talk to me? Don't I look busy, confused and distracted? Before her intrusion on my thoughts, I was involved in a major mental struggle. The first was about how terrible everything in life has been lately - so much so that I needed to self-medicate with sugar. And the second was about how the ingredient list (remember I'm anal about reading labels) wasn't living up to my standards; and furthermore, how truly unfair it was that the pie was unacceptable for my consumption further proving to me that life sucks and nothing ever works out right.
Anyway back to granny, In my head my face is contorting, eyes are rolling and through gritted teeth I'm saying "Shut up already!" I was so annoyed I had to leave the damn pie rack and go shop for something else. Needless to say, that episode made me a bit testy and even more short-temperd than usual.
My mood didn't get any better when I realized I'd left my wallet in the car as the cashier was ringing me up. Damn, damn, damn! Because she only a few items left to ring, I had to sprint to my car to retrieve my wallet. Now...I am really pissed that I've had to make an additional trip to my car then back inside the store only to have to make the journey back to the car again. A waste of my good energy, if you ask me. And I don't like wasting my energy - I'm lazy. Plus, I'm working up a sweat and I've already gone to the gym so I didn't really need or want any more cardio.
Upon returning to the store with wallet in hand, the Bag Boy (early 20's) decides to chat me up. Mind you, I'm veeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrry irritable and consumed with the feeling that everything in ife is working against me. All I want is my damn groceries so I can get home and eat the meal I have denied myself since leaving the gym a short while ago.
BB: Do you like have a profession?
I twist my face into a nasty scowl as I run my credit card through the credit machine and attempt to read the on-screen prompts
ME: (With lots of attitude) Whaattttt??????? the fuck plays in my head
BB: Do you like have a job? Like something that you do?
Without saying another word, I turn my gaze on him so he can get the full view of my growing disdain for him. At first glance my expression is one of incredulous then morphs into confusion then contempt as I shake my head then I move in for the kill and settle into "If looks could kill you'd be dead right now" hostility with a subtle eye roll as I turn my attention back to the credit machine and the cashier
BB: Well, I ask that question because you look like (his voice trails off) an actor
I continue to look at the cashier, who is quietly unsettled (her face is beet red), without responding to him. I even give her a little residual attitude in case she put this inarticulate fool up to this tomfoolery. With her best customer service smile she nervously hands me the credit slip
Cashier: Sign here please
I sign the slip and hand it to her
BB: I didn't mean to like offend you
Cashier: Here's your receipt. Have a nice day!
I smirk at the Bag Boy...again. I grab my bags and walk out of the store thinking Dumb ass! Ask an intelligible question if you want ME to answer. If not, you will be ignored. Better yet - shut up already!
